Five Ways To Destroy The Hidden
Epidemic That Is Making You Fatter

can't-sleepIt's true, there is another reason why pounds of body fat seem to randomly appear on your body. Nobody really talks about this hidden culprit and I can't figure why not for the life of me.

The reasons why you pack on body fat:

  • Eat too much food (including the wrong kids of food)
  • You don't exercise or get enough physical activity
  • You may have a hormone imbalance
  • Plus a few more obvious ones...

But A Major Reason Fat Just Won't Leave You Alone...

...You're Not Getting Enough Sleep!

tiredThere is a serious sleep epidemic all over the world. Not only with the amount of sleep people are getting, but the quality of the sleep people do get.

The Catch 22 of Obesity & Getting A Bad Sleep

This is really a huge topic. We are going to dive into the 5 ways you can improve your sleep, but first you have to see the big picture. (This is a general look, not specific)

You can't sleep because you're overweight of obese. You get hot, you can't breath, obesity causes sleep apnea & chronic snoring, plus a whole bunch of other things.

But you can't lose weight or exercise or eat better because you're too tired from lack of sleep. You body can't internally recover, you stay up at night and binge of poor nutritional snacks, it's hard to exercise when you have zero energy.

It's a catch-22... a vicious circle... and it's unfair. The only way out is to force yourself which will be tough.

This will be the topic of a future report.

5 Ways To Get A Much Better Sleep!

1. The Nature Space App

nature-space

This is an app for the iPhone, iPad, and I think for the Android as well. This company has recorded the most amazingly in-depth nature noises.

Seriously. When you listen to the jungle track, crickets lay down the foundation. They seem to surround you with a soft melody. Tree frogs chirp and give the forrest a depth that you can really feel. A gentle drizzle falls and you hear it pitter pattering off the leaves of what seems like really tall trees. It gently splashes into damps pools on the jungle floor. Mysterious birds far off give muffled calls making you feel like you're somewhere humans have never touched.

It's incredible and it really helps you fall asleep. I personally love to listen to this before I go to bed. It blocks out background noise and immediately calms you.

Try it. You'll love it!

2. Great Bedding

great-beddingMy husband has his own luxury bedding store. I am very lucky in that we get to sleep on 100% silk sheets and this really isn't an option for many people. Let's face it, they are expensive.

But I've always slept on whatever sheets I had. Nothing special at all. Once I started sleeping on silk, bamboo is really good too, I slept much better.

The feel of a great bed sheet does many things for you.

  • Silk, bamboo, some cottons breath really well helping you not get hot at night.
  • Silk and bamboo both are hypoallergenic. Dust mites, molds and fungus can't bother you from the actual sheet.
  • The comfort level skyrockets. A great bed sheets is so comfortable you just instantly relax. It's hard to explain.

These are a few reasons, but investigate new bedding. It might be exactly what you've been looking for.

3. Go To Be Early!

This is nothing new. You've definitely heard this before.

Just do it. Go to bed one hour early. It will change everything.

4. Keep It Really Dark

Make sure your bedroom is so dark, you can't see anything at all. Even the smallest amount of light can actually ruin your sleep cycles.

During the night you are going through a series of sleep cycles. Light, even though it does not wake you up can ruin the sleep cycles and therefore ruin the quality of sleep you get.

Here is more information about this... I really want to get to the last tip.

5. EXERCISE!

exerciseThe best way to improve your sleep... to help you go to bed earlier... is exercise!

Are you shocked I saved this one for last?

Seriously though. Exercise is so much more than just losing weight. According to a study reported by WebMD, 23 adults were studied (mostly women) aged 55 and older. All these people reported trouble sleeping and even daytime impairment because of being tired.

They did a serious of only aerobic exercise (cardio).

The study found the group that exercised not only rated their sleep at the good level, but they also reported less depressive symptoms, more vitality, and less fatigue during the day.

Exercise is so important beyond just weight loss and sleep is one of those things. This is actually a good catch-22.

When you exercise, you sleep better. When you sleep better, you have more energy to exercise and do other things. So this circle keeps getting better and better!
