Today over at The Weight Lifting Revolution I wrote about the 3 questions that you need to ask yourself...

Because weight training may not be for you. Actually you may not have what it takes to weight train at this time in your life.

Question 1: Do I like to work... to improve?

That is the name of the game in weight training. If you are not trying to consistently improve upon your current condition, you will fail. You need to always be beating your bodies ability to adapt. If you cannot to that then you will never lose body fat and you will never gain muscle.

Question 2: Do I want a new lifestyle?

Whatever late night television is telling you, it is wrong. Fitness and healthy living through exercise is not a matter or 30 days or 90 days. It is a lifestyle.

A lifestyle that requires you to change. It just so happens that this change is the greatest possible change you can make. But it is a lifestyle. Some people want the quick and dirty fix... this is not it.

Question 3: Am I ready for success?

You may not believe it, but a lot of people are not ready for success. Success is scary because it changes your life too. People start to treat you different and other people who never payed attention to you, begin to notice.

Weight training will definitely do this because we live in a very visual society. I hate saying this but the cliche "pretty people" win out. You can be one of them... or you can increase your prettiness.

Just understand that success will come to you. You will get ripped and you will have the confidence of a Tiger Woods. Can you handle it?

So I am going to ask you... are you right for weight training? I hope you answer yes and if you adopt the weight lifting lifestyle, you will be unstoppable. You can do it!

"Hey Dan & Taylor! It's Jamie. I used to be a personal trainer and currently a practicing registered yoga instructor. So when you invited me to give a professional opinion of the site, I was a little skeptical. However, you guys really went above and beyond with this. That way you integrated balance & flexibility training with weight training... is the missing piece in the fitness industry. You did a great job, keep it up." - Jamie Bailey

"Dan & Taylor... Thanks for getting me back in shape before my wedding. I knew I needed help and yall had exactly what I was look for. Your workouts are so customized to me and I love the recipes you offer. I never knew eating healthy could be so easy.
